The balanced one: Souvignier gris from the small Silberberger oak barrel, matured for 12 months and refreshed with a dash of Muscaris Classic. It has a balanced flavour with notes of vanilla, pineapple and nutmeg in the nose. Supported by fine roast aromas, the notes of fruit become more intense on the palate. A harmonious dance of subtle acidity and a juicy, fresh body make it go down very pleasantly. Even when young, this long-lasting wine is an absolute joy to drink. For wine aficionados, experimenters, and hands-down wine nerds.

Organic white wine from Zotter’s own “Vulcano country” vineyards as well as the new organic Biotopia vineyards, where wine is grown in the shade of fruit trees under a mixed crop system.

Souvignier gris is a new type of wine created by crossing the Cabernet Sauvignon and Bronner varieties. In Austria, it’s grown primarily in the southern province of Styria. Muscaris is also a new type of white wine, related to the muskateller, as the name indicates.
