A boneless, pastured cut of pork belly, dry-cured. Ahead of the hot-smoking process, this cut of meat is cheekily seasoned with paprika and chilli, hence the name “Witches’ Bacon”. This smoked cut is beechwood-cured to produce its typical, fiery roast aroma.
Enjoy cubed in a salad or as a simple snack on a roll of bread.
We call the pigs at our Edible Zoo “Pasture Pigs”, because they are reared in an ideal outdoor environment and are able to take mud baths all year round. We raise Mangalitza pigs, Duroc pigs, as well as Swabian-Hall swines. You can visit all of them at our Edible Zoo.
