The balanced and full-bodied one: Souvignier gris from the small Silberberger oak barrel, matured for 12 months. It has a balanced Burgundy flavour with notes of exotic fruit in the nose. Supported by fine roast aromas, the notes of fruit become more intense on the palate. A harmonious dance of subtle acidity and a juicy body make it go down very pleasantly. Even when young, this long-lasting wine is an absolute joy to drink. For wine aficionados, experimenters, and hands-down wine nerds.
Organic white wine from Zotter’s own “Vulcano country” vineyards as well as the organic Biotopia vineyards, where wine is grown in the shade of fruit trees under a mixed crop system.
Souvignier gris is a new type of wine created by crossing the Cabernet Sauvignon and Bronner varieties. In Austria, it’s grown primarily in the southern province of Styria.
