A high-percentage milk chocolate with whisky-flavour – virtually alcohol-free (alcohol content less than 0,05%)
A rare cacao variety with a high Criollo content from Guatemala. After the roasting process, we’ve marinated the beans in whisky for two whole months. The whisky comes from the renowned David Gölles distillery in Styria/Austria, created with regional spelt and matured for years in oak barrels. After the cacao beans have soaked up the whisky flavour, we re-roast them, making the alcohol dissipate but retaining the whisky aroma, and turn them into a milk chocolate with a strong 60% cacao content, a fine melt, a wonderful whisky bouquet and a pinch of salt which tickles the palate – all without the added hangover.
