  • Animals – sheeps, goats, Highland cattles, Old Styrian chicken and many more. New inhabitants: Wallabies, Alpacas and Ostriches! Our animals
  • ÖKO Speck Takel – Our transparent meat workshop in the centre of the Edible Zoo! Find out more about the production and processing of meat and sausages at ÖKO Speck Takel, watch our butchers at work through the glass wall or on screens and take a look inside our ageing rooms.
  • Zoo Stories (digital audio guides) – 99 information signs with QR codes inform in 9 languages about animals, plants and other highlights within the edible zoo.
  • Moai & Art Park – A smoking Moai and many other sculptures and puns can be found in the Zoo, especially in the new Art Park with its ponds.
  • Mush Room Container – with our own mushroom cultivation
  • Sunny path – with various fruit and berry varieties from Austria.
  • Mother-in-Law’s Garden - Where toxic and medical plants sprout
  • Golden Photo Shooting Riegersburg - Take your panorama photo of the famous castle in the XXL-frame.
  • Photovoltaic mover – The Edible Zoo is completely energy self-sufficient. The park is supplied by a large photovoltaic installation with nine photovoltaic tracking panels. They follow the sun like sunflowers and produce more than 100,000 kilowatts per year.
  • Sun terrace - Enjoy the sun and the panoramic view
  • Herbal wall - our herbs grow on the frontage of the house - this is the architecture for the third millennium. 
  • Zoo pharmacy
  • Slope slide from the Skywalker – where kids can have a good romp
  • Raised-bed gardens – with vegetable varieties of the past millennium – very ancient.
  • Trick fountains – you need to pedal to make funny water fountains.
  • Water cannon stations throughout the zoo – our watering system with grey water from the underground rainwater collection tanks and the ponds.
  • Petting zoo – with ponys, sheeps, lambs, mini pigs, donkeys ...

  • Movement skill parkour – test your agility and sense of balance. A cheeky challenge for kids and adults.
  • Farmer’s golf – the slightly different type of golf, with rubber boots as projectiles
  • Stream fallow at the ostrich enclosure - a playground for children to jump in the mud
  • Adventure playground – slack lines in the forest, balancing for children and adults
  • Listening to music at the river – nature is the best concert hall. Listen to music with ducks and geese at the stream.
  • Hanging around in hammocks – relax in the forest.
  • Love path – For dreaming with an original Buddha statue.
  • Forest walk – to the pig forest and the pig birthing centre.
  • The cemetery of ideas – The strangest cemetery of the world. Sepp Zotter has set gravestones for past chocolate varieties and ideas. It all ends here or starts again.
  • Urn cemetery - because at some point there was no more room for more chocolate gravestones. With a career ladder to heaven for the managers of tomorrow.
