Minced lardo from our woolly pigs. Refined with uniodised sea salt, pepper and selected spices. A pleasure for connoisseurs. The bacon from woolly pigs is a very popular and fine delicacy, and is high in unsaturated fatty acids and low in cholesterol.
In our zoo, the woolly pigs live outside in a little wood throughout the entire year. Even though their meat is much appreciated, the breed was close to extinction because the woolly pigs cannot be kept in animal housing alone. By extensively keeping them in little routs, the population slowly recovers.
